As per Mississippi Code Annotated of 1972, sections [25-51-1 to 25-51-7], the Mississippi Library Commission conducts the state depository program for public documents issued by the state government agencies for public distribution. In 2012, these sections were amended with a statement that all state agencies should submit their public documents in an electronic form for placement on the Commission’s official website. CONTENTdm serves as the digital gateway to these public documents.
